My research focusses on e-textiles and their performance related to textile structure and manufacturing process. I aim to study various e-textile applications, from sensing to energy harvesting, and the relationship between t
he electrical performance and textile structure (knitted or woven). I hope to deduct from these studies a general view on the potential of optimizing our e-textiles not just through yarn material innovation, but rather through the textile structure technologies.
